When a man says “I accept” at a marriage ceremony he is saying I accept the responsibility of providing for my wife, loving her and protecting her.
It’s called a marriage contract for a reason.
Each spouse commits to fulfilling the rights of the other and to faithfully adhere to the requirements of the contract.
The only difference between this contract and others is the potential for happiness, contentment and fun.
